Freight & Shipping Policy

All orders ship via commercial freight carrier using the quickest and most economical method available, unless specific routing instructions are provided in writing at the time the order is placed.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or provided by quote and are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

All freight shipments are tailgate (curbside) delivery unless additional services are purchased at checkout.

Shipments are delivered on large pallets. A forklift or appropriate unloading equipment is required to unload the shipment.

Tailgate delivery means the carrier will deliver the shipment to the rear of the truck only. The customer is responsible for providing adequate personnel and equipment to unload the shipment. The driver is not required to assist with unloading.

If the shipment cannot be unloaded upon arrival, redelivery and storage fees may apply and will be the responsibility of the customer.

Any additional freight services must be selected at the time of order and will incur additional charges. Services requested after the shipment has left the manufacturer may not be possible and typically result in significantly higher costs.

Additional services may include:

  • Lift Gate Service
  • Residential Delivery
  • Delivery Notification

If Lift Gate Service is purchased, the driver will lower the shipment to ground level. The customer remains responsible for moving the shipment from the delivery point.

Residential Delivery Service is required for addresses not accessible by a commercial truck route.

Freight deliveries occur during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Delivery notification confirms the day of delivery only, not a specific delivery time.

Upon delivery, the carrier will present a delivery receipt. Customers must count all pieces delivered and inspect for visible damage before signing. Any damage or shortages must be clearly noted on the delivery receipt.

Signing the delivery receipt without notation constitutes acceptance of the shipment in good condition. Claims for missing merchandise will not be accepted unless documented on the delivery receipt.

Claims for concealed or hidden damage must be reported to ExoFit Outdoor Fitness within 15 calendar days of delivery and must include photographs of the equipment while still on pallets.

Estimated ship dates and transit times are not guaranteed. ExoFit Outdoor Fitness is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, manufacturing schedules, labor issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

WHAT DOES ESTIMATED LEAD TIME MEAN?

Estimated lead time refers to the approximate amount of time it will take for a product to ship, not the delivery or transit time.

For in-stock products, a lead time of 2–4 weeks means the product is available and expected to ship within that timeframe.

For backordered products, a lead time of 10–12 weeks means the product is being manufactured. This includes production, crating or palletizing, and preparation before the product leaves the warehouse.

Lead times are estimates and may vary due to production schedules, material availability, and freight conditions. Transit time begins once the product has shipped.
