TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR EXOFIT EQUIPMENT

The main structure is made from 3mm thick carbon steel (using S235JR Steel), with the main support post 4.5”. We use the latest production techniques like Laser cutting and Robot welders.

The equipment is then subjected to a Sand-blasted (SA2.5) followed by powdered zinc coating (Akzo Nobel’s Interpon PZ660- 2.36-3.14 mils) and powder coat finish (Akzo Nobel’s Interpon D36). This process, in accordance with Akzo Nobel’s guidelines, gives us a C4 category coastal rating for highly corrosive areas. Tamper-resistant stainless-steel fixings and sealed bearings tested to 3000 hours in salt spray

The caps, base covers and seats are made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and have been tested in our UV climate test chamber as well as our constant temperature and humidity test chamber reaching temperatures of -86–140 F and between 20 – 98% humidity. Testing lasts 3000 hours in both machines.

The Impact attenuating edges are made from rubber and go through the same testing as the footrests caps and base covers.

The hardware (tamper-resistant) and sealed bearings are all high-grade stainless-steel tamper proof fixings and sealed bearings that have also been through 3000 hours of salt spray testing.
